SEALS OF FLUOROPLAST-4 AND OF COMPOSITIONS ON ITS BASIS
Articles ofФ-4and of composite materials are used in the chemical, petrochemical and oil refining industries and for repair of pump and compressor plants ofНД,НК,АДК,ГП,ДАОНandГМtypes.
Articles produced of fluoroplast compositions are intended for operation in aggressive media at temperatures from minus 60 to plus 260 °С in high vacuum conditions and at pressures up to 10 MPa.
The compositions are used for manufacturing of:
- piston rings and rod seals for compressors and hydraulic cylinders;
- gland seals and braided seals for sealing of movable joints of machines and valves;
- axle bearings;
- bearing shells;
- face seals, lip-type seals, washers, gaskets and other parts for equipment repair.
Lip-type seals, supporting and pressure rings which can be used in the sealing assembly of hydraulic cylinders ofНД–type pumps (dosing pumps) are serially produced as seals of fluoroplast-4 and of compositions on its basis.
The use of fluoroplastic seals in compressor plants enables reduction of compressor noise by 5 – 10%.
The main advantages of seals produced of fluoroplast compositions compared to articles of steel, bronze and cast iron are:
- ability to operate without lubricant use in places where lubrication of parts is difficult or impossible;
- ability to operate under dry friction conditions;
- high wear resistance.

We are ready to produce articles according to pre-agreed drawings or statement of works provided by the customer with almost no limitations as to quantity, shape or size. Our company has research and development resources enabling the manufacturing of test specimens of parts of various complexity levels for further testing at your facility. We can choose fluoroplast compositions which would be suitable for specified operation conditions (pressure, temperature and applied loads) and consider replacing other materials (paronite, asbestos, rubber e t. c.) with fluoroplast. Placing an order for dimensionally accurate parts with our company means exclusion of machining of fluoroplastic billets and of the resulting loss of expensive material, saving money, for example on delivery of products and solving the problem of fluoroplast waste disposal.
